On the 12th of June MSI Commerce atttended an interactive conference on
maximising revenue through online fashion retailing. Organised by Drapers, a leading
magazine on fashion retail, at the Radisson Hotel in Mayfair there were a number of leading speakers from across the industry including Nick Robertson, CEO of ASOS and Dawn Bebe, Managing Director of OSOYOU.com.
The event provided some excellent insight into leading ecommerce retailers and offered smaller retailers the opportunity to learn from those at the top. The following provides a summary of the key issues affecting
online retailers profitability.
There were a number of points of interest, but one of the speakers, Steve Robinson, CEO from M and M Direct spoke in detail on the importance of relevance in eCommerce. In particular the gathering of key customer data in order that retailers can provide relevant products and information to customers. The new MSI
eCommerce platform caters to the needs described by Steve during his presentation.
